“Daddy!”
“Car!” (Does sign for car as well)
“Home!” (Does sign for home too)
“Daddy!”
(takes a breath)
“Mommy!”
“Outside!” (Points to garage)
“Swee’Pea!” (Points to self)
“Daddy!” (Points to me)
(Smiles and claps)
Swee’Pea, over dinner, tells me all about how she saw me drive into the garage and how Mommy carried her out to the garage when I didn’t come in right away.
(You got that, right?)

Yeah, I got it. But only because my daughter, who speaks in normal and long and full sentences seems to be reverting back to grunting and pointing.
I think she’ll be sleeping in the (points to closet) closet tonight…

Oh TOTALLY! But I have a Toddler-to-English dictionary, so that helps too.
