Why they’ll need separate bedrooms someday
Overheard on the baby monitor this morning as TheMonk begins to stir and talk out loud in his crib. Suddenly, someone else weighs in on the matter…
Swee’Pea: “Go to sleep.”
TheMonk: “No!”
Swee’Pea: “Go to sleep.”
TheMonk: “No!”
Swee’Pea: “Go to sleeeeeeeeep.”
TheMonk: “No!”
I had to laugh because, let’s just say, that apples don’t fall far from trees.

Oh, so they’ve turned into Bert and Ernie, have they? Let me know when the boogie-woogie sheep carts one of them off.

that is too funny! my 15 month daughter is always trying to wake her brother up by saying “hey hey hey”.. we have contemplated many times to separate them but they have so much fun together sharing that I dont have the heart to.

Do you use the monitor for anything other than blog material? I ask because we turned ours off a long, long time ago. Did nothing but wake us up, you know?

So cute! It sounds like Swee’Pea is finally hearing someone ELSE say “No” for a change, huh?

It’s like having your very own mini-parent around. Just think of all the time she’s saving for you!
Monk, clean your room!
Monk, take out the trash!
Monk, do your laundry!
The possibilities are endless.
