Through the eyes of babes
TheMonk has always been interested in anything having to do with electronics. Lately, he’s had his eye on Daddy’s very nice digital camera. This morning, in an effort to distract him while I got him and sister ready to leave for daycare, I handed him my camera, showed him what button to push and how to look through the view finder. He took to it faster than I would have thought. The part that really sucks is that if I was totally honest I’d have to admit that his photos are better than mine.
But judge for yourself. I give you… Photos By Monk.

These are great! You are very brave to let him handle the said very nice digital camera, but he obviously had fun. And I can tell by the last picture in the bunch that the DVD is well loved.

Sorry, that last one was a non-Monk photo. I saw it on the Flickr feed.

I will say they are very similar to the one’s my “professional” 3 year old takes. I think they always seem so abstract that some can actually be perceived as
“good.”

Wow! Print ‘em and sell ‘em. He can earn his keep.

Very nice. My Girl prefers the camera phone
My questions: where’d you get that cool in-page viewer?

Some very nice pictures there. It’s great letting kids play with camera’s (apart from the oh-my-god-please-don’t-break-it element ) because they tend to focus on what’s important to them, and you get a real idea of what they’re interested in… especially when they get to the ‘nothin” stage of conversations.

I’m really impressed! He’s got a good eye. ^_^
And your captions made me smile.
I, too, think that you’re brave for trusting him with the camera. And I’m SO glad that he did so well! This is really awesome!
